Leslie joined the lab during the summer of 2016 when she was an undergraduate student. She was an enthusiastic student during her stay. Leslie analyzed the taxonomy of samples previously collected of digeneas of the genus Phyllodistomum associated to freshwater fishes from Middle America. She made a wonderful job combining morphological and molecular characters to differentiate the species. Leslie defended her thesis and she graduated during the autumn 2017.
