Lalito as we call him in the lab. Lalito joined the lab in 2013 when he was an undergraduate student. He participated in several project and helped in collecting parasites from various hosts including marine, brackish and freshwater fishes and aquatic birds from Mexico and Middle America. Lalito published some papers with us. He has particularly interested with digeneas of the genus Drepanocephalus endoparasite of cormorans of the new world. In his project got samples from Gulf of Mexico and Pacific Coasts from Mexico. Lalito did an exemplary job on his project combining morphological and molecular techniques that allowed graduate in 2014. Now Lalito works in the Instituto Nacional de Perinatología.
